I&#8217;ve &#8220;done&#8221; pancakes before (see: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.therowdybaker.com\/?p=91\" target=\"_new\">The Real Scoop on Pancakes<\/a>) but my sweet little granddaughter is working on a school project and specifically asked for a photo of blueberry pancakes. How can a grandma refuse?<\/p>\n<p>So I changed my basic recipe a wee bit, making it a little richer (butter instead of oil), a little sweeter, and cut the recipe to make approximately 6 large pancakes. Pancakes from Eema&#8217;s kitchen:<\/p>\n<div class=\"easyrecipe\" data-rating=\"0\">\t<link itemprop=\"image\" href=\"http:\/\/www.therowdybaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/bite-1024x683.jpg\">\n<div class=\"item ERName\">Taunee&#8217;s Blueberry Pancakes<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERClear\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERHead\">Author: <span class=\"author\">The Rowdy Baker<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"ERIngredients\">\n<div class=\"ERIngredientsHeader\">Ingredients<\/div>\n<ul class=\"ingredients\">\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup all-purpose flour<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 1\/2 teaspoons baking powder<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 teaspoons sugar<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/2 teaspoon baking soda<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">pinch of salt<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 egg<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">3\/4 cup buttermilk<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1\/4 cup milk (or water)<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">2 tablespoons melted butter<\/li>\n<li class=\"ingredient\">1 cup fresh blueberries (if using frozen, don&#8217;t stir into batter &#8211; drop onto poured pancakes before flipping over.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"ERInstructions\">\n<div class=\"ERInstructionsHeader\">Instructions<\/div>\n<div class=\"instructions\">\n<ol>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Heat griddle on medium high. Grease generously. (I prefer shortening, but bacon grease is good too.)<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a medium bowl, combine the dry ingredients.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">In a small bowl, whisk the egg, buttermilk, and milk together well. Whisk in melted butter.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the liquid ingredients, mixing just until combined. I like my batter to be fairly thick, spreading it into circles on the hot griddle with a spoon. If you prefer a thinner batter, add more milk or water until it&#8217;s the desired consistency.<\/li>\n<li class=\"instruction\">Spoon batter onto hot griddle.
